Camp Arrowhead Philosophy
Our passion is to help every boy become the man God intends him to be.
What are we about?
The Arrowhead mission is to build the character, confidence, courage, and compassion of young men through time- honored camping traditions, exciting outdoor adventures, unique creatively-focused programs, and the biblical teachings of Jesus Christ.
What do we believe?
Camp Arrowhead's program is based on what we call the Five C' s: Character, Confidence, Courage, and Compassion through Christ. For nearly seventy years Camp Arrowhead has positively and dramatically impacted the lives of the young people in our charge. We are here to help our campers and our staff seek that plan through exciting, fun, and adventure-filled programs that define the Arrowhead camping experience. We believe that God, who loves each of us, has a plan for our lives, a plan that is unique and wonderful. Our duty is to glorify Him by seeking this plan joyously with a clear mind and a courageous heart, and to help others do the same.
What makes us unique?
* We are small: we will know the specific hopes and needs of your son.
* We are passionate: for us, working with children is the highest calling.
* We are uncompromising: your son deserves nothing less than our best.
* We are FUN: what can we say? From horseback riding to water-skiing to white water paddling to rocketry to blacksmithing, your son will have a blast with us! Heck, where else can your son shoot hoops, rappel down a mountain, paddle through rapids and learn to bake pizza in a wood-fired oven all in the same day?
