At Camp Arrowhead, we want to be partners in the parenting process. You put so much time and effort and love into your son, and we want to build on the foundation you have created. In fact, sometimes counselors have a special ability to communicate with your son simply because they are a different voice. What we provide at camp is a group of excellent young people who reinforce the messages that you have been sending all your son's life: reverence, honesty, love, compassion, respect, responsibility, etc.

We believe that some lessons that are best learned at camp: independence, self-reliance, self-confidence and social confidence. We have had a parent say that camp is like college a little early.

Our passion is to help every boy become the man God intends him to be. With this in mind, our leadership team hires the most outstanding counselors we can find and then provide them with exceptional training.

We believe that camp begins and ends with its people. In fact, you could have a very good camp on an acre of asphalt with the right team. Of course, it is much better to have a beautiful place. Our beautiful setting celebrates the wonder of God's world.

Finally, with our philosophy, people and place in hand, we add a dazzling array of fantastic activities. Our program combines great traditions, challenging skill acquisition and fun to make every day at Camp Arrowhead a memorable one. Our daily schedule is full of fun, while providing much needed down time as well.

Campers are encouraged to progress on activities developing their skills. Progressions start at the basic, where campers learn about and safety basics of the activity. Progressions extend all the way up until a camper is able to teach the activity to others.
