April’s infamous tax day is now behind us, which means summer is just around the corner. Enrolled camper forms are rolling in by the bin full, and we’re in the final stretch before the camp season arrives. Here are a few helpful reminders as you plan to travel our way in the coming months:
Yet to Enroll?
If you have plans to register for a session at Arrowhead this summer, don’t wait any longer! Our two-week camp is full and our main session is on a waitlist. Family camp has also filled to waitlist status. Our June, 11-day and Jr. Camp still have spaces available, so call 828.692.1123 or register online today. Already Enrolled?
Congrats to those of you who have already signed up for a memorable session at Arrowhead. It’s gonna be a great summer! A couple friendly reminders: if you haven’t already sent in the enrolled camper forms, please complete them all (paintball and skiing at Keowee are optional) and send them our way as soon as possible.
Also, the remaining balance of your tuition is due May 1st, so give us a call at 828-692-1123 to let us know how you’d like to finalize your payment. We’ll also send out reminder emails to our families who fall into this category.
Making Travel Plans?
As you look toward the trip to Arrowhead, please be aware of a relatively new section of our website that might be of interest to you. The Helpful Resources page has links and listings for local overnight accommodations, restaurants, things to do/see and items your son might need this summer at camp. Be sure to check it out!
Good Things Around Camp
We continue to make progress around camp, with three new cabanas under construction, the archery pavilion complete and final elements of the new council fire area being put into place. We also enjoyed a successful father/son overnight canoe trip in FL April 11-13. Despite some rain and many mosquitoes, a good time was had by all, and we look forward to future adventures of that sort. So stay tuned for a potential event this fall!
