Jeremy and Elizabeth Gillespie

Arrowhead Directors

Jeremy Gillespie, Executive Director, joined the Arrowhead staff as program director in 2004. A graduate of Winthrop University, Jeremy later completed a Masters of Theological Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary. Jeremy values a quality camp experience because of the impact summer camp had on his own life. His experience includes serving as a counselor, instructor and program director at various camps in the southeast and working as an assistant director at Camp Hope & Camp Sertoma in Clemson, South Carolina.

Jeremy and his wife, Elizabeth, met at summer camp and share a passion to impact children's lives through camp. Elizabeth is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and later earned a Masters of Education from the University of Saint Thomas. Elizabeth taught elementary and middle school in Texas and North Carolina for five years prior to joining the team at Camp Arrowhead for Boys. Jeremy oversees many facets of the program including staff and camper recruitment, camp programming and summer staff training.

Joshua Sinclair, Associate Director, is a former summer staffer from the wood-working and Spearhead program.  Josh’s education includes a B.S. in Outdoor Leadership and Education from Toccoa Falls College.  His experience includes backpacking, leading small groups, and a mixture of outdoor pursuits.  Josh served in the Outdoor Club at Toccoa Falls and has a background in youth ministry.  He brings to Arrowhead a passion for biblical teaching, a willingness to share the love of Christ, and a fresh perspective on camp possibilities.
