It may not be a prequel or a sequel, but the return of Spearhead is the revival of a decades-old tradition here at Arrowhead. This extended, wilderness adventure trip is coming back to life, and campers 13 years and older are invited to consider becoming the new pioneers of this epic program.
During the summer camp season of 2009, we are offering two different, two-week Spearhead sessions. The two weeks will entail a few days of training at camp on the front end, an approximately 8-day, out-of-camp adventure and then a return to Arrowhead in time for all end-of-session festivities. It will be more than just a trip…it will be an amazing and challenging learning experience our campers will never forget.
Spearhead I and III will focus on rock climbing and will run during the last two weeks of our June session and the End of Main session, respectively. Click here to see specific dates & fees – Spearhead will cost the same as our other two-week sessions - and click here for a packlist.
