It may not be a prequel or a sequel, but the return of Spearhead is the revival of a decades-old tradition here at Arrowhead. This extended, wilderness adventure trip has come back to life, and campers 13 years and older are invited to consider becoming the new pioneers of this epic program.
During the summer camp season of 2009, we offered two different, two-week Spearhead sessions. The two weeks entailed a few days of training at camp on the front end, an approximately 8-day, out-of-camp adventure and then a return to Arrowhead in time for all end-of-session festivities. Spearhead is more than just a trip…it is an amazing and challenging learning experience our campers will never forget.
