Meet new friends that'll be friends for life at our summer camp for boys.

The Word on Camp Arrowhead for Boys

If you still haven't seen it, you should definitely watch the staff/family interviews video . We love to get feedback from our campers and families, and here's what a few parents and campers said after a summer at Arrowhead:

We love that our son can just be a boy – run, climb, paddle, joke, sing, compete, cheer on, shoot hoops, eat good food, sleep like a log, create. No computers, no video games, no texting, no phones…thanks! – The Smith Family  Oviedo, FL

My grandson has learned to love kayaking, which he could never do at home, and he is learning to interact better with his peers. - Sally Dare  Vicksburg, MS

Camp Arrowhead furnished our boys with the opportunity to be part of a larger community, while developing their own character away from home. They have been challenged to learn new skills – such as kayaking, blacksmithing and marksmanship. All of this was accomplished stemming from a Christian message – what a bonus! - Elizabeth Mulligan  Boca Raton, FL

The counselors are great. Billy loves the Iron Man every morning. He loves how dinner is served family-style, and he loves the attention he gets.  Lisa McGahan  Atlanta, GA

We were highly impressed with the counselors, their friendliness and attention they paid to our concerns…Luke enjoyed camp and wants to return. His grandmother gave it to him as a Christmas present, and she asked him today if he’d like that again for Christmas and he said yes! - Monty Gettys  Winter Park, FL

Thank you for everything you have done for our son. He had a great time at camp. He had so much fun and cannot stop talking about all the neat experiences he had at camp. He’s ready to come back next year for the whole summer! The Andrews Family  Chapel Hill, NC

We had a fabulous time…it seems like the [Family Camp] weekend at Arrowhead zipped by in a matter of minutes. Thank you for introducing us to all the Arrowhead traditions. We are so looking forward to many adventures at camp with you. - Suzy Cochran  Opopka, FL

I always felt ‘listened to.’ It’s a helpless feeling to be so far from your son when you need to relay information on medications or flights. I never felt frustrated when I needed to be in contact with the camp. – Madeline Brogran  Sarasota, FL

As a 9 year old, one of our campers wrote the following in a school assignment:

Camp Arrowhead is awesome. The activities are riflery, archery, blacksmithing, field sports, ecology, art, mountain biking, rock climbing, basketball, Frisbee, soccer. That’s only about half. Not too man boys can say they shot a rifle. But I did not mention one of the best things…horseback riding. You can ride through the wilderness. Not to mention the food is great. Now let’s talk about the nature! There are many animals, bugs, snakes, horses, donkeys, bears, bunnies. The snakes are down by the lake along with the blob and zip line. You got to be careful when swimming. Then down by woodworking there is kind of a lot of spiders. And at council fire the fire flies sparkle all around with mystical glories.  - Joe Khoury Maitland, FL
