Even though we had record highs here last week, it’s finally cooled back down and feels more like Christmas is just around the corner. We pray you have been able to enjoy the season and are looking forward to time with family and friends in the coming weeks. While you have a moment, here’s a quick update from Arrowhead:
Jeremy made a trip to Florida last week for the final home show of the year and we remain encouraged by the high enrollment numbers. We have extended the capacity for our two-week session by limiting spots for Main Campers. To enroll for these or our Jr. Camp or June sessions, call 828-692-1123 or send email to jeremy@camparrowhead.org.
Matt has written our December Food for Thought, and we invite you to find inspiration there. As we wait for the arrival of our new council fire benches (currently being milled), we’ve all been working on a pavilion at the archery range. Check out the beginning stages of this project by clicking here to view the pictures.
There’s also a new page in our Links & Sponsor section with information on local resources. We think you’ll find it very helpful as you start to plan your next trip to the mountains. In the same section of the site, you can find information on how to support our Children of Promise scholarship program. We’d be grateful for your investment in the lives of these urban and low-income campers.
The new year is just weeks away, and during January and February we’ll be on the road in NC, SC, GA, TN and FL. You can see if we’ll be in your neighborhood by visiting our Travel Dates page, and if we’re not, well, we’d love to be. Host a home show, recruit new campers and earn a discount on your tuition!
