We Love Our Parents!
At Camp Arrowhead for Boys, we want to be partners in the parenting process. You give your son so much time, effort and love, and we want to build on the foundation you have created. In fact, sometimes counselors have a special ability to communicate with your son simply because they are a different voice. We provide a group of excellent young people who reinforce the messages you have been sending your son throughout his life: reverence, honesty, love, respect, responsibility and many other virtues.
We believe some lessons are best learned at a boys summer camp. So, as our mission states, we use time-honored camp traditions and the biblical teachings of Jesus Christ to help your son develop character, confidence, courage and compassion. Our passion is to help every boy become the man God created him to be. With this in mind, we hire the most outstanding counselors we can find and provide them with exceptional training so your son will have an amazing experience.
Located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, the natural setting affords great opportunity for adventure and celebrates the wonder of God's world. Our programs combine great traditions, challenging skill acquisition, high-adventure and endless fun that make every day at Camp Arrowhead a memorable one. We pack the daily schedule with activity, but provide necessary down time as well.
Arrowhead campers are encouraged to progress on activities to develop their skills. Progressions start with the basics where campers learn terminology and safety, and progressions continue all the way until a camper is able to teach the activity to others.
