What will I be expected to do at camp?
As a counselor, you can be expected to run activities during the day and a cabin at night. Most camps stick you in one activity for the entire summer, but at Arrowhead you have the luxury of learning and teaching multiple activities. We do match staff with the activities they specialize in, but leading more than one thing will keep you from getting bored and uncreative, and will also give you the opportunity for personal growth.
How much time do I get off?
You will get one day away (DA = 24hrs) and one night out per week. We all know the summer camp schedule can be pretty grueling, and we want your best while you’re here. So we make sure you have the opportunity to rest and recoup from week to week.
