Parents ask us all the time, “What makes Arrowhead a Christian camp?”
Camp Arrowhead was founded and operates on the belief that we are created to have a personal relationship with God. Through personal relationships we teach basic Christian truths and values. We are all about fun at Arrowhead and believe that camp can be a significant spiritual growth journey for a boy. Our Arrowhead team leads non-denominational morning devotions, once a week evening devotions, and Sunday chapel.
Boys of many religious faiths and denominations join us every summer. At Arrowhead, it is not our goal to proselytize campers; rather they are offered the opportunity to grow closer to God and form questions about their personal spiritual life and relationship to Christ. In keeping with our values, our mature staff encourages risk taking and growth on the boys own terms.
We believe:
- Jesus Christ is the son of God and only through His perfect and sacrificial life can we have a loving, intimate relationship with God.
- The Bible is inspired by God and is without error.
- Our response to Gods love for us is to value, love, and serve each other.
- Every boy, no matter his religious beliefs, will find comfort and safety at Camp Arrowhead.
- God gave us the beauty of Creation to enjoy and care for.
Our beliefs set us apart from other camps and it’s our beliefs that make us who we are…Camp Arrowhead…where a boy can become the man God created him to be.
