Good Times at the 70th Anniversary Event

The anniversary event that took place on July 21, 2007 proved to be a sweet reunion for all who attended. Dozens of former campers and staff came out for the celebration and made the day very special for this summer's campers and staff as well.

The alumni shared stories of what camp was like back when they were around, and there were some great stories! After a casual afternoon of touring and reminiscing, we all joined together for a cookout with all the fixins, and then finished the evening with a very memorable council fire.

Mike Durham led the music, and alumni joined in with enthusiasm as we belted out our favorite camp songs. Individuals representing each decade of Arrowhead history, each with first-hand experience from that era, recalled the lasting memories and the impact Arrowhead had on their lives. With torches lit and the fire blazing, there was a real sense of brotherhood that night, from the youngest camper to the oldest alumni.

Enjoy a few photos, and be sure to come make new memories with us at Arrowhead soon.
